Linked Tables UI/Expert

Selection of the Linked Table Type (Linked Table Definition)
In this section, users can select the type of Linked Table they wish to create:

  • Linked Table: The Code-Table type enables users to generate tables that serve as a reference, as described earlier. These tables are used to store and reference structured data.
  • Recipe: The Recipe type allows users to create tables that contain data, which can be written directly to a PLC. This is typically used for defining and managing production recipes or configurations.

Linked Table View UI – Visibility Settings

These settings allow users to configure which features are visible in the HMI. Visibility controls can help optimize the user interface by hiding unnecessary elements. (No further detailed description is needed for this section as it is self-explanatory.)

Linked Table View UI – Generic X Time Interval Settings

Time Interval Settings:

  • From Column: Selects the column containing data to calculate the starting time.
  • To Column: Selects the column with data to calculate the end time.
  • Duration Column: Automatically calculates the time interval between the From and To columns.
  • Check From < To: Confirms whether the From time precedes the To time, ensuring data integrity.
  • Distinct Time Interval: Prevents overlapping time intervals, streamlining the process and ensuring correct data organization.
  • Master Time Event: Combines multiple events into one unified “Master Time” for more straightforward management.

Linked Table View UI – Independent Columns X Linked Columns

Linked Columns Settings:

  • Filter Nested: Allows filtering of columns in a nested fashion for more granular control.
  • Fill from Nested: Automatically fills data into columns in a nested manner, simplifying data handling.

Linked Table View UI – Sort Settings

Sort Settings:

Users can set a default column to organize the data within the Linked Table, offering greater flexibility in how the data is displayed and ensuring consistency in sorting.

Linked Table View UI – Other Settings

These settings enable or disable additional options for customization in the Linked Table view, allowing users to adjust other functionalities as needed.

Linked Table View UI – Filter Settings

Filter:

This feature enables the creation of advanced filters, allowing users to view only the filtered content within the Linked Table data on the HMI. It provides more control over what data is shown and ensures that users can focus on specific subsets of information.

Other Settings:

Enables / disables other settings.

Linked Table View UI – Filter Settings
