Verifying the Manager installer (Linux)

Before you run the installer, check that it comes from us and was not modified on the way to you. The installer is signed with a GPG signature. The check takes about a minute.

1. Download the files

Download these two files into the same folder:

Copy the whole block below, paste it into a terminal and press Enter:

3. Verify the installer

Replace both file names with the names of the files you actually downloaded. The version number in the name changes with every release.

4. Check the result

A correct result contains these two lines:

The fingerprint must match exactly the fingerprint printed in this document:

The warning “This key is not certified with a trusted signature” is normal and can be ignored, as long as the fingerprint matches.

If the check fails

If gpg prints BAD signature, or the fingerprint is different, do not run the installer. Download it again from our website and repeat the check. If it still fails, contact our support.
